Heat Exchangers
An effective heat exchanger delivers efficient heat transfer while maintaining reliable operation under different conditions. Our heat exchangers balance heat transfer performance, operating requirements, installation space, and maintenance considerations to give customers a reliable solution with efficient operation, lower energy demand, and dependable performance. We offer two types of heat exchanger solutions, plate heat exchangers and plate & shell heat exchangers, to meet different engineering needs.
Plate heat exchangers are built with a series of corrugated metal plates arranged in layers. Hot and cold fluids flow through separate channels in opposite directions, transferring heat through the thin plate surfaces. The corrugated plate creates strong turbulence even at relatively low flow rates that subsequently improves heat transfer efficiency while keeping the equipment compact and space-efficient.
Plate & shell heat exchangers combine the high heat transfer capability of plate technology with the pressure resistance of a shell structure. The welded plate pack serves as the heat transfer core with the additional mechanical strength provided by its external shell. This retains the efficiency advantages of plate heat exchangers and offers improved performance under high-temperature and high-pressure operating conditions.
