Calorifiers
Overview

Calorifiers

We offer three series of calorifiers that combine efficient heat transfer with large-volume hot water storage, that efficiently provides stable hot water supply for projects that require high capacity, consistent temperature control, and reliable operation.

The plate & shell calorifier uses a laser-welded plate pack as the heat transfer core. Its compact structure achieves a low logarithmic mean temperature difference (LMTD) of ≤3°C and full utilization of the storage volume. The system also features automatic sterilization functions for strict hot water hygiene requirements in high-end hotels and healthcare facilities. The floating coil calorifier uses thermal expansion and contraction to create continuous vibration of the coil during operation. Such dynamic movement reduces scale accumulation on the heat transfer surface and maintains long-term heat exchange performance. The U-tube calorifier adopts a stable tube bundle heat transfer structure with reliable operation and cost-effective performance. It is suitable for conventional projects with softer water conditions and sufficient installation space.

With three different calorifier designs, IES provides flexible solutions for projects that require stable temperature control, efficient heat transfer, and dependable hot water storage capacity.

    1. Semi-Storage Calorifier
      Semi-Storage Calorifier

The semi-storage calorifier combines the high heat transfer efficiency of a plate heat exchanger with the high temperature and pressure resistance, as well as thermal storage capability, of a traditional storage heat exchanger.
